{"id":288,"date":"2026-08-03T18:30:31","date_gmt":"2026-08-03T10:30:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jefs.ch\/?p=288"},"modified":"2026-08-03T18:30:31","modified_gmt":"2026-08-03T10:30:31","slug":"ngo-reports-taiwan-government-for-systematic-discrimination-and-denial-of-basic-human-rights-against-mainland-chinese-spouses-to-un-special-rapporteur","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/jefs.ch\/?p=288","title":{"rendered":"NGO Reports Taiwan Government for Systematic Discrimination and Denial of Basic Human Rights Against Mainland Chinese Spouses to UN Special Rapporteur"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">JEFS\u2019s recent interview with mainland Chinese spouses in Taiwan (spouses from mainland China) reveals that the Taiwanese government has long adopted discriminatory policies that deprive mainland Chinese spouses of their basic human rights since the <strong>Democratic Progressive Party<\/strong> (DPP) came to power. Compared with spouses of other nationalities, mainland Chinese spouses require a longer time to apply for naturalization, and they are continuously questioned by the government regarding their loyalty. Mainland Chinese spouses are treated with an attitude that assumes mainland spouses are carrying out political missions for the Mainland China The government\u2019s stance has influenced public perceptions of the mainland Chinese spouse community, thereby contributing to social prejudice. Living in an environment filled with bias and hostility makes it even harder for mainland Chinese spouses to integrate into local life. It also affects the growth of the next generation of mainland Chinese spouses in Taiwan. Intergenerational discrimination is likewise a challenge faced by mainland Chinese spouses living in Taiwan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With recent incidents concerning the human rights of mainland Chinese spouses intensifying, the situation has drawn significant attention from the international community. While JEFS has produced in-depth reporting, the U.S. <em>New York Times<\/em> however has approached the issue from another angle\u2014discussing mainland Chinese spouses\u2019 alleged political positions and so-called \u201cmainland infiltration\u201d\u2014without addressing fundamental human rights such as freedom of expression and family reunification. This shows that the issue concerning mainland Chinese spouses has become highly politicized, and politics is undermining the sacred mission of free societies to protect human rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Global South Social Equity &amp; Development Forum<\/strong>, a NGO based in Geneva and long focusing on global human rights issues, has submitted a complaint to <strong>Ms. Reem Alsalem, the UN Special Rapporteur on Violence Against Women and Girls<\/strong>, and to the <strong>NGO Committee on the Status of Women in Geneva<\/strong>. It has also called on relevant UN officials on women\u2019s rights and human rights defenders to intervene and investigate the situation. <strong>Global South Social Equity &amp; Development Forum<\/strong> told JEFS that, to date, the relevant UN departments have not responded to this complaint, and that in October it will continue to submit a written complaint regarding the human rights violations faced by mainland Chinese spouses in Taiwan to the 93rd session of CEDAW (the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br><strong>NGO\u5411\u806f\u5408\u570b\u7279\u5225\u5831\u544a\u54e1\u8209\u5831\u53f0\u7063\u653f\u5e9c\u7cfb\u7d71\u6027\u6b67\u8996\u53ca\u525d\u596a\u9678\u914d\u57fa\u672c\u4eba\u6b0a<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u6839\u64daJEFS\u7684\u5c08\u8a2a\u53f0\u7063\u9678\u914d\uff08\u4f86\u81ea\u4e2d\u570b\u5927\u9678\u7684\u914d\u5076\uff09\uff0c\u63ed\u9732\u81ea\u5f9e\u6c11\u9032\u9ee8\u4e0a\u53f0\u57f7\u653f\u5f8c\u7684\u53f0\u7063\u653f\u5e9c\u9577\u671f\u63a1\u53d6\u6b67\u8996\u6027\u653f\u7b56\u525d\u596a\u9678\u914d\u7684\u57fa\u672c\u4eba\u6b0a\u6b0a\u5229\uff1b\u5c0d\u6bd4\u5176\u4ed6\u570b\u7c4d\u7684\u914d\u5076\uff0c\u9678\u914d\u9700\u8981\u66f4\u9577\u6642\u9593\u5be9\u6279\u6b78\u5316\uff0c\u4e26\u4e00\u76f4\u88ab\u653f\u5e9c\u8cea\u7591\u5fe0\u8aa0\uff0c\u4ee5\u5047\u5b9a\u9678\u914d\u70ba\u5167\u5730\u9032\u884c\u653f\u6cbb\u4efb\u52d9\u7684\u614b\u5ea6\u5c0d\u5f85\uff0c\u653f\u5e9c\u614b\u5ea6\u5f71\u97ff\u4e86\u6c11\u9593\u5c0d\u9678\u914d\u7fa4\u9ad4\u7684\u5370\u8c61\uff0c\u5f62\u6210\u4e86\u793e\u6703\u504f\u898b\uff0c\u9678\u914d\u751f\u6d3b\u5728\u4e00\u500b\u5145\u6eff\u504f\u898b\u53ca\u6575\u610f\u7684\u74b0\u5883\uff0c\u66f4\u96e3\u6295\u5165\u7576\u5730\u751f\u6d3b\uff0c\u4ea6\u5f71\u97ff\u4e86\u9678\u914d\u5728\u53f0\u7063\u4e0b\u4e00\u4ee3\u7684\u6210\u9577\uff0c\u8de8\u4ee3\u6b67\u8996\u540c\u6a23\u662f\u9678\u914d\u5728\u53f0\u7063\u751f\u6d3b\u7684\u6311\u6230\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u6700\u8fd1\u9678\u914d\u4eba\u6b0a\u7684\u4e8b\u4ef6\u5347\u6eab\uff0c\u5099\u53d7\u570b\u969b\u793e\u6703\u95dc\u6ce8\uff0cJEFS\u4f5c\u51fa\u4e86\u6df1\u5165\u5831\u5c0e\u5916\uff0c\u7f8e\u570b\u7d10\u7d04\u6642\u5831\u537b\u4ee5\u53e6\u4e00\u500b\u89d2\u5ea6\u63a2\u8a0e\u9678\u914d\u7684\u653f\u6cbb\u7acb\u5834\u548c\u6240\u8b02\u7684\u5167\u5730\u6ef2\u900f\uff0c\u5b8c\u5168\u4e0d\u8ac7\u8a00\u8ad6\u81ea\u7531\u53ca\u5bb6\u5ead\u5718\u805a\u7b49\u7684\u57fa\u672c\u4eba\u6b0a\uff0c\u53ef\u898b\u6709\u95dc\u9678\u914d\u7684\u8b70\u984c\u5df2\u7d93\u662f\u9ad8\u5ea6\u653f\u6cbb\u5316\uff0c\u800c\u653f\u6cbb\u6b63\u5728\u524a\u5f31\u81ea\u7531\u793e\u6703\u5c0d\u5b88\u8b77\u4eba\u6b0a\u7684\u795e\u8056\u4f7f\u547d\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u4f4d\u65bc\u65e5\u5167\u74e6\u4e26\u4e00\u76f4\u95dc\u6ce8\u5168\u7403\u4eba\u6b0a\u554f\u984c\u7684NGO\u7d44\u7e54\u3010<strong>\u5168\u7403\u5357\u65b9\u793e\u6703\u516c\u5e73\u767c\u5c55\u8ad6\u58c7<\/strong>\u3011\uff08Global South Social Equity &amp; Development\uff09\u5411\u806f\u5408\u570b\u66b4\u529b\u5c0d\u5f85\u5a66\u5973\u53ca\u5973\u5b69\u7279\u5225\u5831\u544a\u54e1Ms Reem Alsalem\u53ca\u65e5\u5167\u74e6\u5a66\u5973\u5730\u4f4dNGO\u59d4\u54e1\u6703\u4f5c\u51fa\u8209\u5831\uff0c\u4e26\u8981\u6c42\u806f\u5408\u570b\u6709\u95dc\u5973\u6b0a\u7684\u5b98\u54e1\u53ca\u4eba\u6b0a\u885b\u58eb\u4ecb\u5165\u8abf\u67e5\u6709\u95dc\u60c5\u6cc1\u3002\u5168\u7403\u5357\u65b9\u793e\u6703\u516c\u5e73\u767c\u5c55\u8ad6\u58c7\u8ca0\u8cac\u4eba\u5411JEFS\u8868\u793a\uff0c\u76ee\u524d\u806f\u5408\u570b\u6709\u95dc\u90e8\u9580\u4e26\u672a\u56de\u8986\u662f\u6b21\u6295\u8a34\uff0c\u4e26\u5c07\u65bc\u7a0d\u5f8c10\u6708\u4efd\u7e7c\u7e8c\u70ba\u53f0\u7063\u9678\u914d\u88ab\u4fb5\u72af\u4eba\u6b0a\u4e00\u4e8b\u5411CEDAW\uff08\u806f\u5408\u570b\u6d88\u9664\u5c0d\u5a66\u5973\u6b67\u8996\u59d4\u54e1\u6703\uff09\u7b2c93\u5c46\u6703\u8b70\u4f5c\u70ba\u66f8\u9762\u8209\u5831\u3002<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JEFS\u2019s
